Many years of development and testing have been invested in our unique design 4 Pot EP Tuning brake calipers.

We have these calipers on several 400 + BHP race cars for the past 4 years to enable us to be fully confident of their capabilities.
These cars reach almost 180 mph on track and need the ultimate in stopping power.

Designed and developed with a well-respected Brake caliper manufacturer and exclusively made for EliseParts.
The calipers have several benefits over calipers that are made for the Lotus range

These benefits include;

CAD designed for use of larger discs under smaller wheels

Two Piston sizes 34mm and 36mm or 36mm and 40mm

Lighter than any other 4 Pot caliper

More surface area thus will dissipate heat better

Smaller leading edge piston alleviates uneven pad wear

Internal fluid oil ways (external pipes can be damaged by stones and track debris)

Manufactured from Aircraft grade Alloy.

Hard Anodised then Powder coated for corrosion resistance

Unique twin centre Bridge increases stiffness by 25%

8 Cross bolt design

Stiffer than AP 4 pots or AP BBK calipers

Easier to bleed than standard calipers

Same internal dust seals as OEM

Stainless steel abutment plates

Banjo Joint brake fluid fittings

A4 Marine Grade High tensile bolts

316 Stainless Steel fittings.

Discs sizes required

S1 Elise with 15" Wheels can use a maximum of 290mm discs and you will need our uprights that are pre-drilled for 4-pot calipers (Adaptor Brackets not suitable).

S1 Exige with 16" wheels with 304mm discs, mounted with the adaptor brackets supplied.

S2/S3 Elise or S2 Exige with 16" wheels with 308mm discs, mounted with the adaptor brackets supplied.

If you have our GT uprights our calipers can accept up to 325mm diameter discs.
