Rover K Series 140A Race Alternator Kit.

This alternator is based on a Denso light weight alternator with 140 Amp output.

The unit has been tried and tested in the racing environment and has proven to be extremely reliable.

The benefits of this 140AMP unit is that it can deliver more power at a lower speed so it creates less heat doing so.

Heat is the main reason why alternators fail so we also recommend using a heatshield to protect the alternator from direct heat from the exhaust manifold.

The connectors have been upgraded to use ring connectors instead of the cumbersome connectors used on most Series 2 models.

N.B. Not suitable for cars with Air Conditioning.
