If you leave your battery drained for several weeks it probably won’t take a full charge again and will require replacement.
This battery isolator switch can alleviate that issue AND also act as an anti-theft device.
Simply turning the knob anti clockwise isolates the car battery.
This Isolator can be installed along with a bypass fuse that will still allow low current circuits such as the Alarm system and Alarm flashing light but if someone tries to start/ steal the vehicle it will simply blow the fuse and power to the ignition.
Please be aware for long periods of storage you will simply need to remove the fuse to alleviate long term battery drainage
